Ownership
What does it mean to "own" a number?+
When you claim a number on Gasperety, that number is permanently registered to you in our public ownership registry. No one else can ever purchase or claim that number. It's a one-of-one ownership recorded forever.
Can the same number be sold twice?+
No. Once a number is claimed, it is removed from sale permanently. The only way ownership can transfer is through the Gasperety Marketplace, if the owner voluntarily lists it for resale.
What happens to my number if Gasperety shuts down?+
Your ownership certificate is a downloadable PDF you keep forever. The public registry is our commitment to permanence — we treat ownership records as immutable.
Can I own more than one number?+
Yes. There is no limit to how many numbers a single person can own. Some collectors aim to own sequences, patterns, or personally meaningful numbers.
Pricing & Payments
How is the price of a number determined?+
Numbers 101–1000 are priced at face value — #175 costs €175, #999 costs €999. Numbers 1–100 are sold via auction, so their price is determined by the highest bidder.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe.
Is my payment information secure?+
Yes. All card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Gasperety never stores your card details.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No hidden fees. The number price shown is what you pay for ownership. Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on your location.
Physical Hoodie
What does the hoodie look like?+
It's a heavyweight black zip-up hoodie. The front features the embroidered G$ circular badge. The back features your number in large print with "OWNED BY GASPERETY® · ONE OF ONE" below it.
How long does shipping take?+
Production takes approximately 5–10 business days. Shipping typically takes 5–14 business days depending on your location. See our Shipping page for full details.
Can I change my size after ordering?+
Size changes can be requested within 24 hours of purchase by emailing gasperetysupport@gmail.com. After production begins, size changes are not possible.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes, we ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Auctions
How do auctions work?+
Numbers 1–100 are sold through timed auctions. You place a bid; if no one outbids you before the timer ends, you win. Bids placed in the final 5 minutes automatically extend the auction by 5 minutes.
Are bids binding?+
Yes. By placing a bid you commit to purchasing at that price if you win. Failure to complete payment after winning will result in account suspension.
What is a reserve price?+
Some auctions have a reserve price — a minimum amount that must be reached for the sale to complete. If the reserve is not met, the number is not sold.
Marketplace & Resale
Can I resell my number?+
Yes. Owners can list their number for resale on the Gasperety Marketplace at any price they choose. Gasperety charges a 10% platform fee on resale transactions.
Does the new owner get the physical hoodie?+
The Marketplace facilitates the digital ownership transfer. A new hoodie is not automatically produced for resale purchases — the digital ownership certificate and profile ownership transfer immediately. However, if you want a physical hoodie with your number, you can order one for the cost of production and shipping. Just contact us after purchase.
Account & Profile
Can I change my username?+
Yes, you can change your username at any time in your account settings. Note that your public profile URL will update to reflect the new username.
Is my profile public?+
Yes. Your profile at gasperety.com/@username is publicly viewable. You control what information appears — only your username is required.
How do I delete my account?+
You can delete your account directly from Settings → Danger Zone. You will be asked to confirm by typing a phrase. Note that ownership records in the public registry cannot be fully erased even after account deletion — if you own numbers, consider transferring them first.
